How to Find the BitLocker Recovery Key ID for your Laptop

• Sign in to your Microsoft account.
• On the left-hand menu, click “Devices.”
• Locate your device in the list of devices.
• Click “See Details” next to the device.
• Under the “BitLocker Data Protection” section, click “Manage Recovery Keys.”
• Look for the Recovery Key ID, which is typically the first part of the key ID shown on your device you need to recover
• Recovery Key is the key to unlock the SSD
